The event was attended by the PSMIL program coordinator, active students from all cohorts, and student advisors.
According to PSMIL Program Coordinator Ni Made Utami Dwipayanti, S.T., M.BEnv., Ph.D., this activity was conducted because it is considered very important to monitor the progress of students' studies, especially those who are in the process of preparing their final assignments. It is hoped that in a relaxed atmosphere while chatting with the program coordinator, academic advisors, and peers from different cohorts, students will gain inspiration and renewed motivation to complete their studies, added Ms. Yanti. Ms. Yanti further noted that this is also related to the Academic Efficiency Ratio (AEE) requirements in the performance agreement between the program coordinator and the Director of the Graduate School.
Meanwhile, Prof. Ir. Ida Ayu Astarini, MSc, PhD, one of the supervising lecturers who is also the deputy director of postgraduate studies, welcomed this activity. According to Prof. Astarini, this tea-drinking discussion activity is commonly held at foreign universities every weekend to monitor students' academic progress. She also hopes that the students present will be able to graduate on time, thereby maintaining the excellent accreditation status of PSMIL, or even upgrading it to international accreditation (DK).
